i smiled at 10:36 PM.
HUg!There is this sweet image lingering in my mind since this afternoon.
When i was documenting one of the casenotes at the nursing station, i witnessed a heartwarming moment...
"Hey! Are you XXX? Oh my god! How are you going? I miss you so much!!!" this midwife lady in the ward exclaimed with excitement!
"Hey! Nice to see you again. How have you been all these while?" the guy who looks familiar replied.. uhuh.. he is the partner of my patient.
Without hesitation they exchanged a hEARTWARMing HUG!!!
" Look, that is my ex boyfriend XXX!" The midwife announced to the rest of her colleagues and she giggled off by saying , " We were dating at the age 15!" hahaha.. and then they continued catching up with each other, laughing about their silly past.. Aaawwwww~
Aint it sweet? That's why i love Aussie culture so much. They are so open in a good way for this scenario. The hug looked so sincere. I could feel the ward lighting up with this special moment when you have found back someone who used to be your loved one. Gosh! tt's so so cool~
Okay, bring it back to singapore environment.. do you think this will happen? Hmm.. maybe but unlikely. Frankly speaking, if the girl/ guy goes forward to strike a conversation or to simply say, " How is it going? i miss you!" The other party will raise one eyebrow and give an awkward smile, thinkin.. i thot u dont like me then why are you behaving so friendly! You must be up to something.. SIAO!!!! The most likely scenario is... one will try to prevent crossing each other's path as much as possible, isnt it? Classic! muahaha.. but i will do otherwise and attempt to bring back some good cultures from aussie.. Whoohooo.. so cool.. but not sure if singaporeans are receptive to this idea. It is merely a friendly hug to say i care.. muahaha.. sweet sweet...
Alrighty, i am going be a good girl and do some preparation for tomorrow.
