i smiled at 5:02 PM.
First day of placement..*Shakes head*
I slept at 5ish 6am last night and had to wake up at 7ish for placement today.
I was feeling pretty emo and had a good chat with mel till this morning before catching 2 hrs of sleep. That's so so crap! Thank goodness, i felt much better after the chat. Thank you so much for stayin up with me, mel~! Wellwell.. at least she shared some happy news to brighten my days! Sweet Sweet.. just couldnt wait..
This morning was so drama mama.. i woke up at 7ish. After washing my face and made milo, i went into the room and on the light. Guess what, the moment the light was on, one of the light bulb shattered right in front of me! CRAP!!! not when i was already rushing for placement. I looked up with astonishment and found out that the bottom part of the bulb was still on the lamp catch but the glass came shattering down. Hmm..*Ponder* Luckily, i did not walked under it immediately, if not i would be lying in hospital right now. Maybe the filament in the bulb was so hot that it exploded? Poor ger here had to get a broom to sweep them aside before rushing to hospital for placement. I didnt have much luck, took the right bus but did not know it will terminate before my destination because it was the peak hour. Therefore, Ms Teo had to run a long distance to the next bus stop so to catch an oncoming bus. Guess what! I was 30 mins late. The normal bus ride would have taken me 15 mins instead of today's 45mins! *Shakes head* After alighting the bus, i had to run in and being as blur as ever.. i went to the wrong physio department!!!! Took awhile to find the right place. GRrrrr..
That's not all.. i kept doozing off during the meetings! So da glam and unprofessional! Was experiencing muscle atonia due to REM. I felt so so embarrassed.
Placement was not too bad. The supervisor was friendly but the other student is taking honor and she has this "i-am-honour-student" attitude and kept emphasising on that.. uhhuh.. i gotta catch up and be on the go.. I am sure i can do it! Can you imagine, i need to give antenatal and postnatal physio but i will get to see caesarian sugery!!! Dont know if i should be excited or not. Well, at least it would be of use in the future..
And i have a proclaimation to make.
I WILL NOT ALLOW ANYTHING/ANYONE TO GET INTO MY WAY IN THIS PLACEMENT!!! FOCUS!!!
