i smiled at 10:14 PM.
Haha.. another cut for today. I sliced my left ring finger while cutting carrots.
It's really a sliced lo. Bled more than yesterday. oppzz.. Didnt really help when we ran out of plaster. Now i have 2 cuts on my left hand. *Sobsob*
Today, i tried to cook something new. It's basa fillet. When i defrosted it, it smelled really fishy.
Was wondering if it was supposed to be like that or it was not fresh. Hmm.. Well, so mel and I decided to put some salt to cover the smell and then leave it in the fridge.
Then i got a recipe on msn that says, " Alittle salt, soy sauce to marinate the fish and then put alittle oil in the pan to fry the fish." Is that right, Efrem? haha.. Guess what? It became a disaster! My dish tasted worst than salt fish even with the additional of the mushroom sauce. It's not okay. =( I think a little salt is so subjective. ahhaa.. oppz.. Would try that again with " a little" salt next time.
For the past 2 days, I learnt something about cooking.. Ian told me, "Cook with feeling." And Efrem mentioned, "Cooking is supposed to be simple." I better take some time to internalised. Trying to pyscho myself that cooking is fun.. Well, only with chicken, not fish!!!!
I saw firework right outside my house. What a romantic scene! How i wish my prince charming is with me to enjoy this moment. haa.. well, mel and me rushed out of the house with our sleeping clothes. How unglamorous. Luckily, the road was pitched dark and there were no cars on the road. Gee... I really missed the time when i was watching firework in Singapore. Sighz...
