i smiled at 1:36 AM.
As you can see from my title, it's true that i have injured my hip. To be more specific, I am diagnosed with left SIJ posterior translation which caused me to have pain scale of 8/10 intermittent sharp pain. Was having problem getting out of the bed yesterday morning but it was worse this morning. EXCRUCIATING pain! Nearly teared due to pain. I felt like a pregnant lady when i was trying to get out of the car, prolong sitting and occasional walking.
Sounds painful, right?
Perk and mel were suspecting that i had gotten the syndrome from surfing.
Most likely because that was the only strenous sports i played during the weekend. It didnt help when i kept falling off the board and landed on shore with one side of my butt.
The question is... why pain started 2 days after surfing? What would have aggravated it ? *pondering* Sleeping posture? Maybe i have been lying sideways?
The good news is that Perk taught me MET and Mel mobilised SIJ for me. Now, pain scale is...6/10 intermittent dull pain and i am able to sit for long.. not sure if i could tahan crossing my legs. haha..
That's the beauty of staying with physiotherapists... open 24/7! haha..

I went school and i told wanning .. she was sharing her experience of her unstable hip due to falls from roller blading. Her clinical educator who saw her said " you are lucky that one side is unstable, if both are unstable, you can forget about child-bearing!'' I gasped! whoa.. so serious! erm.. i guess mine would be better soon? right? hahaha... I think i am in good hands so .. can still go surfing when i get better! right?
Dont tell mama n papa.. they will call me back to spore immediately if i go surfing despite of so many injuries! hahaa..*hush hush*
But i would promise to recover before my next surf or salsa lo.. dont want to risk my motherhood.
Today, i went to airport with perk to welcome her mum n brother Perk Lun. We realised something that was really interesting. We could distinictly see the culture of westerners and asians. Let me explain to you in more details...When westerner kids see their parents at the arrival hall, they will walk up to them and hug and kiss them but .. when asian kids see their parents, they will usually say, "Orh! u r here.. Why take so long? Quick, the parking time is over! Let's go" haha.. Aint it typical? Are u guilty of that? hahaa.. In fact, i like westerners' culture in this aspect.. i reckon to make a difference. I will hug my parents n siblings when i see them. In that way, my kids will learn and duplicate. Yeah, thinking far huh? Must act for the future. haha
Apart from this, we had a great dinner because perk's mum cooked a sumptuous meal for us. Yummy! After that perk lun was really nice to help me fix my laptop. He might be 4 years younger than me but he is so swervy in IT! Really admired him for that. Well done, perk Lun and thankz! hahaa, the treat from me was the baileys! haha.. PErk, perk lun, mel and me played daidee and the forfeit was a mouthful of baileys. Well, we were merely trying to train Perk's bro to be a better drinker..aint we nice? haha! With him around, it did inject alot more laughter in our house..
